SCG was engaged to support the Torrens Connect team in their Engineering Change process for the for the Alstom Citadis 302 trams ‘C6’ (500,000km) service to extend to 600,000km.

An FMEA, Risk Assessment and Condition Assessment were the key tools used to support the Torrens Connect team in reviewing and analysing the systems and components included in the C6 service activities.

The development of the FMEA drove a series of targeted condition assessments and visual inspections of the key components identified by risk priority scores, these were captured in a condition assessment checklist.

An engineering report was prepared in consultation with the team, detailing the proposed and implemented risk mitigation strategies to support successful implementation of the Engineering Change.
